Microsoft’s Larry Hryb has announced on his official blog that the Spring Sale for Xbox One will commence on March 20. There will be many discounts for Xbox One owners to take advantage of, including consoles, games and content from the Xbox Store. If you’ve yet to pick up an Xbox One console for your household, this month is the time to prepare for such an investment.
The company has worked with participating retailers in the U.S. to knock off $50 from console bundles, including The Division bundle that only went live earlier in March, as well as both the 500GB console Name Your Game bundle and Special Edition Quantum Break. There some choice there for everyone, depending on which games you believe you’ll enjoy, as well as what you’ll immediately require from the console bundle (Kinect, extra controller and whatnot).
With the console savings kicking off on March 20, Microsoft will unlock the floodgates on March 22 for one week only when you’ll be able to check out discounts on Xbox and PC games, movies and even TV shows from the Xbox Store. Up to 60% can be saved on games with a handful surpassing that threshold. Titles included will feature Fallout 4, Halo 5, Far Cry Primal, and more.
What’s more is if you happen to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, there’s an extra 10% to be saved. Be sure to check back at the Spring Sale page in a few days time to see what deals are available alongside console bundles from just $299.
