Taking to the PlayStation Blog, Bandai Namco Entertainment Community Specialist David Lee has revealed several new titles coming to the Americas, including Tales of Berseria.
Since Bandai Namco didn’t mention it, don’t expect the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Berseria to release outside of Japan. Tales of Berseria is the first game in the series to feature a female character as its singular main protagonist, although players will still encounter a variety of characters to join her on her upcoming quests.
The trailer has a notably darker tone than most Tales games. It’s a 2 v. 2 fighting game that brings characters from the anime and manga to live in battle arenas similar to that of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.
God Eater is best explained to those unfamiliar with the series as a Monster Hunter-like series where you fight giant monsters in an attempt to save the world. Her story begins three years prior to the start of Tales Of Berseria, where a traumatic instance imbued her left hand with a strong power.
Vita, meanwhile, will play host to Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force, while Digimon Story Cybersleuth is now pencilled in for February 5 on PS4 and Vita.
Sony has confirmed that God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 are coming to PS4 and PlayStation Vita.
Fighting-game fans will be treated to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven (pictured) and One Piece: Burning Blood.
It’s Bandai Namco’s mission to reach more players in the west, with wonderful games such as these becoming available in North America, they’re sure to win more fans there.
