Good news for all the “Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” series fans. A new video game is coming and it’s going to be equally awesome as the previous titles in the franchise. According to a report by VG 24/7, developer Frogwares Studios will formally present the next title which is “Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter.” They have already confirmed it and it will first be spotted during the Paris Games Week. It has also been noted that the game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the coming year.
Published this time by BigBen Interactive, the “Devil’s Daughter” title will be a slightly different take of the game. Destructoid said that the new game will put a focus on drama and action. And according to the press release, the eighth game in the series will be something that will push the abilities of the gamers to the limit through “a one-of-a-kind interactive experience.” Moreover, Sherlock Holmes’ “ruthless logic is overwhelmed by family stories, irresistible emotions and an occult revenge.”
Ubergizmo detailed that in the game, players will need to go through and solve five challenging and intriguing cases. They will have the ability to freely go around in an vast landscape of playable terrain. The players will also need to maneuver through fast-pace action sequences in order to challenge their every gaming skill. They will also be challenged by its unique combination of game mechanics which in turn generally result to an extraordinary experience. The state-of-the-art graphics will also really grab their attention as it brings the streets of Victorian London to life.
Gamers can expect to really enjoy the new title of the series despite how challenging the gameplay can be. Like for instance, in each investigation there will be more than one suspect. Mr. Holmes will need to take every step necessary in order to figure out who really committed the crime.
“Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter” is expected to be released in Spring 2016. More details about it will be unveiled soon.
