President Barack Obama spoke Sunday afternoon with the parents of the two Americans killed in Brussels last week, saying the couple “epitomized all that was good about America.”
Justin and Stephanie Shults were killed last Tuesday during the terror attacks in Brussels.

The pair had graduated from Vanderbilt University, and Stephanie Shults’ job took the pair to Belgium in 2014, according to The Tennessean.
Obama, according to an unidentified White House official, further expressed his condolences with each of their parents, and said the thoughts and prayers of the nation were with them.
The bombs last Tuesday killed at least 31 and injured hundreds of others in Belgium’s capital city. Justin and Stephanie Shults were killed at the airport.
