Hitmanbeta is set to roll out in February 2016, ahead of the game’s release in March. One of the most notable confirmations made on the event was from Square Enix regarding the official live beta date for the upcoming stealth-based game “Hitman”.

According to the details revealed by its developers, the plot of Hitman Beta has been set twenty years in the past. The mission revolves around how Agent 47 was recruited and when he met long-time handler, Diana Burnwood. Players need to pre-order the game to guarantee access.

A teaser trailer has also been released of which you can check out below. Square Enix will release the full version of Hitman on March 11 with three sandboxes: France, Italy and Morocco.

The new “Hitman” game beta serves as a prequel to the franchise and a background check for Agent 47 himself. Meanwhile, the latter three-location part add-ons will serve as expansion content, bringing the total number of locations to six.
