Someone’s going to grab a bit of momentum tonight, but it may be a bit more difficult for the Washington Capitals as the squad heads to Pittsburgh for Game 3 of the second round series.
The Caps will be without defenseman Brooks Orpik who was suspended three games by NHL Department of Player Safety on Sunday for a hit to the head of Pittsburgh’s Olli Maatta. That means Washington is going to need its biggest names to step up to the plate tonight, particularly Alex Ovechkin who has just one point in two games this series.
