Since its release on Steam’s Early Access program back in 2013, the game has been receiving constant new updates to refine the game into a solid game. According to their Steam page announcement, Telltale Publishing will be helping The Fun Pimps in porting 7 Days to Die onto PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As a cross promotion, interested players who pre-order 7 Days to Die will also receive 5 exclusive character skins from Telltale’s The Walking Dead series. This includes characters like Michonne and Lee Everett. The console version will have a new multiplayer mode including local split-screen and additional online multiplayer modes. More information regarding these features will be coming out over time.
7 Days to Die is a rough open world, survival game where you create fortifications and weaponry as you defend from the copious amounts of zombies. It’s still in extremely alpha development. So the news that an alpha product is already in talks of being published to consoles is strange. The console releases are penned for some time in June 2016.
